Pcod trying to conceive girl..?

Hi my periods are not regular(was diagonsed with pcos).I want to conceive a girl.But If I do as per Dr shettels method or chines calender method.Will my chance of pregnancy gets affected?.Does pills for regulating periods has any influence on s*x of baby?..Anybody faced..Please suggest.

Hmm, well the shettles method and the chinese calendar method will both give you a 50/50 chance.  The chinese calendar is just for fun really.  The shettles method says that for a girl you should try a couple days before ovulation, but that isn't always accurate.  You still have a 50/50 chance of a boy or a girl!  Even if you try to conceive the day of ovulation, you still only have a 50/50 chance for a boy or a girl. You might want to google Dr. Shettels method to be sure. good luck!!  


  2. Have you tried PlanBaby.com? Success rate seems to be better than Shettels and the methods simpler. Anyway, I do not think that pills have any influence on the s*x of the baby. And to make sure that you have the best chance to get pregnant, make sure that you monitor your ovulation day. The temperature approach is ok to do this. Hope this helps.
