  1. they do external and internal ultrasounds, they aren't scary at all just can be a bit intrusive but you need to find out because it's a pretty big deal.

they also do blood tests to determine hormone levels etc.

you have nothing to be worried about babe! its something you need to find out so you can sort it out.

  2. My sis had the same prob. and she is also overweight. She was probly seventeen at the time and only had one or two periods a year. They tested her by doing blood work, I believe. I will ask her and try to get u some more info. I don't think they scanned her bits though. LOL

  3. To see if you have PCOS, your doctor will have you go to the hospital to have an internal and external ultrasound to see if ther are cysts on your ovaries and to make sure that is what you definetly have.  They will also, most likely, test blood for sugar levels. It's nothing to be afraid of!! It'll be all for the better!

  4. Here's a site that has information on your condition:

Unfortunately, seeing the bits are part of the show sometimes. These tests, no matter how embarrassing, are being done for the good of your health. Please don't be scared. Let your doctors examine you. From what I've read up on it you have to get this done. I'm sure you know that too. Good luck!
