I realized that my 9.5 months old baby always gets a rash around his mouth after I give him peas(although at the beginning I thought its from wiping his face of). I was sure he has a reaction to the peas after I droped excedently some food on his chest and he also got a rash there. Otherwise there are no other reactionsand the rash disappears after ca. 30 min. Anyways I am not giving him any peas anymore but are there other vegetables he might would react as well? I have his check up in 2 weeks or do I have to go to a special doctor to get his allergy checked out?

  1. You son can have a pea allergy, best to stay away from any foods in the legume family. For example, any type of beans and peanuts (see link below).

He'll have to get blood work done and see an allergist, but talk it over with his doctor at this next appointment.
