My peach trees are getting big brown spots on the fruit do I need to spray them with something??

  1. Quick. Call your county extension office and check with them.You may be able to save the crop. If it's happening to you it's happening to others in your area. The extension service will be able to give you a prompt and reliable answer.

    Peach trees typically have to be sprayed in winter in order to produce nice clean fruit. Fruit trees in general are succeptible to lots of insect and disease problems. It could even be weather related; that's why I recommended the Ext. Office. The symptoms vary from variety to variety as well as from place to place and weather variables are a big factor. Big beautiful peaches take a little work and the Ext Office can give you a brochure with all the details. You may even be able to download the brochures online; you can in our state.
