Peacocks..what would you do?

Help.....Can anyone tell me where peacocks, should be living...instead of being in a Street with traffic.Will the RSPCA do anything, as they have not been of much help in the past with other problems on wild animals.

  3. If you are in the UK it's unlikely that they are wild. They have probably flown in, having absconded from their owner's garden. I agree they shouldn't be roaming the street. They are quite big and can be a bit intimidating. The males can be particularly territorial, so watch out for small children and smaller pets. My suggestion is to call the RSPB or a local wildlife centre. If you google maps, you should be able to find your nearest one. If they are found to have an owner and are causing a nuisance then the owner can be held liable for any damage caused. The RSPCA should act upon calls such as this, but I know they are quite stretched and may take some time dealing with your enquiry.
