Question:

Peak District/disability question?

We are planning to take my mum away for a big birthday soon and he has always wanted to go to the Peak District. She has restricted mobility in that she can only walk short distances. We have found the perfect place to stay but want to know if there will be enough to do for her. Obviously she can't go walking. She likes historic stuff, crafts etc. We are hoping to stay in Marsden if that helps. Anyway my question is, if anyone knows of any good places to visit. Thanks

  1. The towns of Bakewell and Buxton have lots to see and obviously would have benches for people to  sit on. Stately homes in the area are chatsworth House and Haddon Hall--the hall has a very worn floor though,so she would need assistance.
