  9. peanut butter clay

    Ingredients:

    1 c. Smooth Peanut Butter

    1/2 c. Honey

    2 c. Nonfat Dry Milk

    Preparation:

Mix together the peanut butter and honey first. Add half of the dry and mix; then continue to add a little at a time until it feels soft and playful! Use less than 2 cups of dry milk if the clay seems to be getting dry.

You can add raisins, coconut, chocolate chips etc. to decorate. ENJOY!!!

YES, YOU CAN EAT IT! It's really sweet because of the honey so I try not to give the kids too much, but I don't make it too often so when they get it even a small bunch is a treat!

Combine brown and granulated sugars in a medium saucepan with the butter and milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring, until blended and butter is melted. Bring to a full boil; continue boiling, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Quickly stir in the vanilla, peanut butter, and marshmallow creme; pour over the confectioners' sugar and stir to mix well. Spoon into the prepared pan. Cover with plastic wrap, pat down to level out and chill until firm. Cut into squares when firm. 10. I love PNB spread on Ritz crackers, Cheez-Its, and Apple Slices.

  11. Wash a celery stalk and cut it into 4" lengths.  Don't slit it up the middle, however.  Mix a little margarine into the peanutbutter to lighten the texture and make it easier to spread.  If you like things hot, add one drop of hot sauce (like Tabasco) when you're mixing this.  Spread the pb into the groove of the celery stalk pieces.  Dot with raisins.

To make this snack portable, take the raisins with you in a separate bag. Spread the pb on the celery, then place two stalk sections together, pb sides facing.  Wrap with plastic wrap or aluminum foil.  When you get wherever you're going, unwrap your snack and dot with raisins.
