Peanuts or Pretzels?

Question

Which do YOU like best as the flight attendant comes along to pass out the famous snack ... peanuts or pretzels?

I love the peanuts and will ask for an extra one before I get off the flight! :)

Most airlines have eliminated peanuts because of allergies. Yes, people are allergic to all sorts of things that don't merit banning but peanut allergies, like those to shellfish and some other specific ones, are especially dangerous.

The person risks going into anaphylactic shock, even from the peanut dust from other passengers opening those little bags. This would mean making an emergency landing. Since 3 million Americans suffer from this, it is a risk the airlines don't care to chance if there are alternative products they can distribute.

It's just too high a price to pay for a snack.

I was working as a Flight Attendant when our airline announced that we would be making the switch, informing us why it was needed. At first I thought it was silly but then I was educated on the matter.

Still, I miss them! I much prefer them to those nasty hard pretzels. What is really vile are those crackers some airlines give out.

Too bad they can't distribute "real" pretzels, like big soft ones with mustard...now that's a snack I'd enjoy (with beer-why can't airlines serve decent beer??)

I like them both the same.  I'd perfer a sandwich.

Both are good.

Cause they re salty help keep the water within your body as dry air of the cabin dehydrates you.

Pretzel has more calories.

PRETZELS ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely hate peanuts!!!!!!!!!!!!ALWAYS,ALWAYS if i get pretzels, i ask for two or three extra bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am allergic to peanuts.  I prefer that they not be served at all so I don't even have to smell them.
