Pear Tree in my garden

i have a pear tree in my garden and all of the pears have fallen off all at one time. when they fell off they weren't even ripe. and some were bitten and black

also the tree trunk is not brown. its more white.

do you think that the tree should be cut down or is there something we could do

  1. sorry, the trees probably dieing cut it down


  2. Why cut it down?  Did you want to harvest anything off it anyway?  It flowers, so it still has ornamental value.  It would to me, anyway.  It also feeds local wildlife.

  3. it can feed wild life like deer and birds
