Great Britain’s manager, Stuart Pearce has gone on to hail Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076 as he feels both the players were phenomenal during the Olympics.
Both Sturridge and Cleverley played very important roles in the GB squad, all the way until the quarter finals when the team was eventually knocked out of the competition.
Pearce thinks that the maturity and level of confidence that the two players showed, will make them top contenders for a spot in the England squad and it is now only a matter of time before Roy Hodgson gives the players a call up.
When talking about the English youngsters, Pearce is reported to have said "I certainly think they'll be around the squad"

Previously, Sturridge has gone on to admit that he was shocked when he found out that he didn’t make the England Euro 2012 squad. However, when given the chance to play in the Olympics, he fought through an injury to get fit in time to play for the team.
Given the way he played during the competition, he is bound to get more playing time for Chelsea this coming season.
This playing time is going to let Roy Hodgson get a much closer look at just what he is capable of and hence help him secure a spot for himself in the national team, for the World Cup in 2014.
As far as Cleverley goes, he now need to try and maintain his performances and become the pivotal member of the Manchester United midfield.
Should both the players manage to build on their performances, they are bound to go on and have great international careers.
