Question:

Peavey CS-400?

i have a pair of "PA speaker",,,, and each of this speaker has a 300 RMS with 600 peak into 8ohms..... Do you think i could used the peavey cs-400 on this site: http://84.87.34.146/Collectie/Versterkers/peavey_cs-400.htm

  1. Yeah, I don't see why not! Your speakers have a higher impedance than the minimum (4) from the amplifier, and the amplifiers power does not exceed that of the speakers, so I would say it's fine.


  2. I have been in the PA system business for years.  My only issue with that amp is that it is very old.  That amp was probably manufactured in the 1980's.  It may not have to many years left before it has problems (If it doesn't already).  Peavey amps are good, but if you spend a little more and get a new amp.
