Pedal tricycle?

i want to teach my two year old how to pedal her tricycle but she can not get it.how could i help her out.it is not one with the handle so i can push her.

  1. Put a velcro strap on the pedal for footstraps.  Kids usually have a hard time keeping their feet on the pedal.  This is what they use in the developmental delayed preschools, not that your kid is delayed, they worked with this for my oldest when he was 4. All 3 of my kids have attended it


  2. My kids couldn't reach the pedals very well at that age so my dad bolted some pieces of wood to them. The kids pedaled more easily with that help.

  3. She will learn without any special guidelines.  Just give her the opportunity to try, placing her feet on the peddles and pushing the bike forward a little.  She will go backwards some before she gets the hang of it.  It's a matter of her coordination and leg strength which will come with time and practice.
