Pedi foot shaver was rusty and I have a nasty cut. Foot is so sore today, should I worry?

My friend gave me a pedi, they used a razor shaver thing on the calluses on my heels. She had cut me on my heel (a chunk) and I bled alot. As she was cleaning the cut, I saw the shaver was really rusted.

My dumb friend said "wow, it was more rusty when we started, it must have rubbed off". I woke up today and it hurts to walk on.

Should I worry? What should I watch out for?

Tetanus!!  

Go to a clinic or your doctor and ask if your shots are up to date for this.

You should get a tetanus shot.  Clean the wound and put some Neosporin on it--fast!
