  1. My 3 year old loves the vanilla.  We call it a milkshake.

  2. I have not used it, but I have used Carnation Good Start.  It's a little more cost effective.  My 14 yr. old still uses it at breakfast, because she's not always hungry really early before she leaves for school.  I'll occasionally mix it in with shakes or something else we're making.

  3. I have used pediasure for my son when all he would do was drink.  You have to try it out though and see what flavor he will like the best.  Also you can try the store brand, I think Walmart has one.  The best thing that you can do is just let you son eat when he is hungry.  Do try treats just leave healthy snacks like fruits or vegetables in the fridge or on the counter that is easier for him to reach.  When he gets hungry he will eat.  You can even try and make a smoothie for him to drink adding his favorite fruits and vegetables.  Last I would take him to the store and allow him to pick out his own food to eat.

  4. pediasure does help get them the nutrients they are not getting from food.  However, i would try to get him to eat more by offering rewards.  If he doesn't eat all of his dinner no dessert or snack, unless it's a healthy snack.  BUT, if he eats all of his dinner, give him some sugar!!!!

  5. I would absolutely try it with your son, but dont let that be a complete replacement for a meal. make sure you offer the food first then once he eats what you feel is good then offer him that to drink.

  6. I've tried, when my son went through a not-wanting-to-eat-phase.

He would not drink them.  Neither would my daughter.

My son loves Carnation Good Start though.
