  1. There is a way to massage the ankle bone that can supposedly send you into premature labor or cause a miscarriage in early pregnancy. I don't think is a safe way to induce labor, but it is okay to get a pedicure if you want. The nail tech should ask if you are pregnant before hand, if not tell them and they won't massage your ankles. Hope I helped.

  2. My brother-in-law's girlfriend is in school for massage therapy and she told me there is a pressure point in the small hollow between your ankle bone & your Achilles tendon. During my first trimester, she told my husband to avoid massaging that area as well as my shoulders and the webbing between my fingers. She pointed out that the pressure points have to do with menstruation and stimulation of your uterus. Since during the first trimester you're trying to hold on to the pregnancy, you avoid those spots and for obvious reasons during the third trimester. Hope this was helpful! :) Trust me, I can't wait to get a full body massage with hot stones after I give birth. (I'm 18 weeks in now).
