Pedicures??!!!?????!!!!!?

Question

should i buy a home set and do it myself? will it look cheap? or should i paint my toes myself? any tips how? i have tan skin on my feet. what colors look good?

help with this one too

Painting your toes doesn't always look bad, as long as you don't paint your skin, because then you made your toenail..like 2x wider! Also, doing it yourself is cheaper than getting it done, and as long as you know how to do it, or you read the instructions carefully, they should look great, and cost you a LOT less money!

I recommend doing in yourself.  My trick is I use scotch tape to help me make the french tips--and it looks pretty pro.  OPI has fantastic, bold colors for tanned skin.

yea you should do it yourself its easy. Just paint away from the nail upward with the polish (two coats) then just put a top coat (clear) on when your done and it will  look professional. with tan skin bright pinks and reds always look nice and my favorite is the french manicure. cant go wrong with that! hope this helps!

Pale colours show off tanned skin well e.g. pale  pink or creme x

i do mine myself its not that hard after a couple times everyone says mine look good plus its fun and red always looks good on toes and you can buy those little sticker thins in the beauty aisle and put them on too but only the big toe or it will look over done

if you are a good painter, then u should totally buy your own polish! it can save u a lot of money and trips to the nail salon. for tan skin, neon colors are really in right now. so is white.

I would think a bright color would look hott, not a dark color since you said you are tanned...ummm i have seen beige on some tanned toes and it looked fab....but my opinion would be very bright pink...and if you are a first starter my suggestion would for you to go to a pedi...if you chose not to, you may get used to it later on...its fun to try it hehe :]

u should do it urself. it wont look cheap if u kno wut ur doing and its really not that hard i think red would look good on tan feet...i think.

Just don't get the French pedicure, the kind with just a white strip on the end.  I hate those !!  At first glance, it makes toenails appear like they are too long and need to be trimmed. Long toenails look gross!!
