what is a pedodonticts appontipent? i \m getting reaedy for braces and i had an appointment for this what is it?

A pedodontist is a dentist who specializes in treating children, aka, pediatric dentist.  (Pedodontists usually treat people up to 21 y.o., then refer them to a general dentist.)  

My guess is that you are getting ready for braces, and your orthodontist wants a clean bill of health before placing the braces on your teeth.  The pedodontist will give you a check up and fix any issues before braces.
