Barca have started the season in an impressive way as they are so far unbeaten in seven La Liga matches which takes them to the top of the table with 19 points.
The 25-year-old has admitted that he is happy at where he is at the moment and feels that Barcelona is on the right track under new boss, Tito, and that more success will come.
“Tito has followed the same line of thought and everything has continued as normal,” he said.
The Spanish international has also talked about the club’s forgettable season last year as they lost out the league to their bitter rivals, Real Madrid, and his contribution to the club going forward this year.
“It was a tough year. But we will compete well this season.” He added.
He also talked about how both, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Real Madrid, are the two best teams in the world and how their approach to the game and style of play is totally different from each other.
“We are two different teams. They seek to counter-attack, and we want control of the game. Each has their own style, but both are the best two teams in the world.”
Meanwhile, he also commented on the difficulties he went through last year as he was injured and how former coach, Pep Guardiola, stood by his side and reinvigorated his chances and career at the club.
“I suffered an injury last year, but Pep gave me an opportunity. He and Tito have changed my life.”
Finally, the forward shared his thoughts on Atletico Madrid’s revival in La Liga this season as they are now level with Barcelona on top of the table with 19 points.
“Atletico are playing well and have a lot of confidence. They have great players. The League is very difficult,” he concluded.
