Question:

Pedro Martinez for Huston Street?

I'd be getting Huston Street. I am a bit afraid though that down the road, towards the trading deadline, that Street might get traded by the A's to a contender, resulting in him becoming a setup man for the team he is traded to.

  1. Street is not getting traded and he's been on fire of late I would say do it.

  2. I'd say go ahead and trade him. The trading deadline is very far away, and if he does get traded, he'd still have benefited you for two months. Martinez has been very shaky this year and looks like his injury will slow him down. Since you only have two closers, I'd say getting Street is worth it. Borowski and Wilson aren't even that great, and I have no idea why you have Marmol and Broxton.
