The right winger believes La Blaugrana can bridge the gap against Real Madrid with the end of the season drawing near.
Real Madrid command a respectable 6-point lead over Barcelona in La Liga title race and are the bookmakers favourite to end their barren domestic run come the end of May.
However, with the Capital club still to travel to the Camp Nou and given their woeful return against the Catalan outfit in recent years, everything is up for grabs, leaving Les Cules with plenty of optimism.
Barcelona first team regular, Pedro Rodriguez, shed his views on the topic and believes the outfit from Catalunya can usurp the Madrid side. He commented that La Blaugrana will have to take it match by match and hope Los Blancos drop points as they
did against Malaga and Villarreal.

Barcelona overcame the resilient Athletic Bilbao 2-0 in Catalunya in their latest La Liga match, bringing their winning streak in domestic competitions to 8.
"We know we can do it. Madrid have a good lead but we just have to take it game by game, playing as we are now, and hoping that they slip up, so we can reduce the difference," Pedro said while talking to reporters at a press conference.
"It’ll be difficult because they are playing at such a high level, but we are in our best moment of the season with the mentality to be able to do it. It will be difficult to successfully defend the title, but not impossible.”
With domestic duties out of their way, Barcelona turn their attention to UEFA Champions League and welcome AC Milan to the Camp Nou in midweek, on April 3rd.
After their European adventures, Pep Guardiola’s men are on the road again in La Liga, battling their wits against the resurgent Real Zaragoza at La Romareda.
