Barcelona forward, Pedro Rodriguez, believes his team will not get complacent and let their 16-point lead over Real Madrid slip

Despite their 16-point lead Pedro is of the belief that his team will not lose concentration and let their advantage go into waste.

“We have a good distance in the League. We have a lot of points to spare, but we will try to not reduce that distance.”
The Spaniard stated that his team will continue on the same path and never take their eyes of the ball.
“The team will continue with the same ambition as usual.”
The Spanish international also commented on the return of club boss, Tito Vilanova. He said that everyone at the club is extremely happy with his return and is hoping that Tito will return for the derby match against Espanyol.
“Seeing Tito lead the team is the greatest joy possible for us. I hope he's on the bench this Sunday [against Espanyol] as that's important for us.”
The 25-year-old also added that Tito’s health is what is important for the Catalan club and hopes that he will stay with Barca for many more years to come.
“But most importantly is his health. I hope to be here for many more years. I am happy to be here.”
Finally, Pedro remarked on his experience at the Camp Nou. He said that he is trusted at the club and because of that he feels a sense of belonging.
“The club have always put their trust in me and I feel very valued and loved here.”
Barcelona are currently the leaders of the Primera Division. They will encounter with their derby-rivals, Espanyol, on the weekend.
