The winger has jumped to the defence of his club and national side, asserting that their football is not boring.
According to Barcelona’s Pedro, the Spanish national team and La Blaugrana do not play a boring brand of the beautiful game.
The footballer’s statement has come following recent developments which suggested that the Spanish giants and the world champions are not entertaining.
After Spain’s successful defence of the European title in this year’s Euro 2012, a number of experts had suggested that the team were boring. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 del Bosque played an overly defensive formation.
The experienced manager chose to play a ‘false-nine’ striker and played his men in a very defensive manner. La Roja were observed gathering up all of the possession and playing more passes than they were needed.
However, in addition of frustrating the opponents, the European champions also managed to frustrate the football audiences all over the world. Despite having a number of options available, Del Bosque chose to play a striker-less formation.
Moreover, Barcelona have been faced with the same criticism and the current FIFA Club World Cup champions are believed to be moving along the same path. Their typical tiki-taka brand of football has come under scrutiny and experts believe that they need
to start playing entertaining football.
Pedro strongly disagreed with such claims and emphasized that winning titles is the most important thing.
"It's tough for us to hear that Barca and the national team are boring to watch. Supposedly, we play attractive football, one-touch football, which is what people want to see," http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pedro-c29582 was quoted as saying by Marca.

"We've all got our own opinions, our own way of appreciating the game. We believe in our philosophy and think, that for the good of football, it's better to play that way. We know that we have to remain patient on the ball, but it's frustrating sometimes. There
are games that you completely dominate and suddenly you're behind and you ask yourself how that's possible.
