Pee on plant????

Is it bad to pee on a plant will it die?

It is OK to supplement your plants with pee as long as you dilute it with at least 3part water to 1 part of pee unless you plant is a fruit tree. Then you can pee right on it.

If it's a newly planted plant, or a seedling, don't give it pee.

It will burn the leaves from the salt in the pee and if done continually, it wil burn the roots which will kill the plant.  If you must pee on the plant, throw some clean water on it to dilute the pee.

Geez, you sound like you've been hanging around my husband:  he likes to pee in my garden.  I always tell him to pee on the soil instead and to make sure he rinses with water to dilute the salts from the urine.

Peeing on plants may sound funny to some people (especially city folk) but it's one organic way to add nitrogen to the soil.  The urine also helps repel rabbits and mice; they smell humans and stay away.

So go pee right along.  Just make sure you rinse with water...and wash your hands!!!
