I know a girl, my ex-girl friend, she is now 19 years-old but she still pees when she is sleeping (when she is dreaming she is peeing in a restroom, she peeping on her bed)

Is this some kind of sickness, does she need to go to see a doctor, or is there anyway to prevent this happens with seeing a doctor?

  1. maybe she has incontinece problems alot of women have this i have it , you could get her to do pelvic floor exersises to strengthen the bladder wall this will help to control her bladder once it is strong she won't wet as much don't worry it is normal i had it and i am dry now the other thing she could do is buy a bladder alarm that you put on your panties and when wet it sounds the alarm and wake them up and tells them that they need to use the toilet. with patience you can get over it  and may there is an emotional promblem underlying or bothering her so help her see a counsellor. google pelvic floor exersises and order big pads . i have them from hospital every month i get them .

  2. Some people go into a deep sleep which make bladder control and awareness difficult. In young active children bed wetting can occur after exhausting activity.

In many cases, anxiety and nervousness may contribute to this condition so that it can happen at particular times such as nearer to examinations or even when there are difficulties in personal relationships.

Please see a doctor who may be able to identify the cause.

  3. She should see a doctor it is unusual for a 19 year old to be peeing in her sleep.

  4. Almost everyone I've ever encountered, no matter what age they are, that wets the bed at night suffers from a misalignment of the L2 vertebra. If this particular vertebra in the spine misaligns, it can cause nerve pressure on the nerves that go to the bladder to cause weakness. This is something that can be corrected by a visit to a chiropractor.

  5. gross.. good thing she is your ex girlfriend and not your fiance.. she should see her dr.. there are some pills taken at night for weak bladder  but they have to be prescribed. also limiting drinking any liquids near bedtime might help. if shes sleeping at your place and she asks for water before bedtime tell her you are all out
