  1. Not really!

It'll probably flake off several parts of her body and is pretty usual.

You may find that rubbing olive oil in her skin especially after a bath will keep the skin soft and prevent dryness.

My babies all looked like snakes shedding their skins after birth!

  2. not much you can do .  Baby's skin will peel.  Totally normal.

  3. my little girl had skin peeling off her all over when she was born as she was born 12 days late. It went on for quite a few weeks too. I just tried to keep her skin hydrated and used diprobase cream from the docs. Apparently olive oil works well too but I could never quite bring myself to use this!

  4. not really, its dead skin thats all coming off at once from being in the womb and all...nothing to worry about unless its raw and bleeding.  moisturizer is just adding chemicals and wont help anything since the skin is dead so there isnt much point.  congrats!

  5. I just used lotion .but i think baby oil might work too.
