  1. lol Well,I don't know what to say,I'm greek and I never heard of Pefkohori before in my life!!!Is it some village on an island or something? There is a village called Pefkohori in Halkidiki but I don't know if that's what you mean!Anyway that is to say,it's not a very "tourist's place".So I can't really help you on whether there are a lot of clubs and stuff there but I can assure you that 1st,greeks speak very good english and 2nd giros tastes awsome!!!!You should call it souvlaki, that's its name.Giros is the meat you put inside.Have fun!! x*x

  2. were is kassandra peninsula?????

  3. Pefkohori has been for many years one of the top locations for tourists in Halkidiki. It's quite big and has not so many clubs but great bars and many places to eat good food. For clubbing Kalithea is the place but you need a car to get there (about 20 minutes away), or the city of Thessaloniki (about 1,5 hours, I live there by the way). The sea is great in Peukohori and not too far from there (take a bus), there is the beautiful beach of "Paliouri" with the great beach bars.

It's been 3 years since I've been there but I think the place was starting to lose some of it's fame due to the dense building  figuration and the British crowds messing everything up and starting fights all the time(in August). I'm not sure how it would be in September but it's certainly more quiet then and if you catch a bad weather (I'd give about 10% chance) then you might even get bored(bad weather means rain, not anything extreme!). The sea is warm and you'll have no trouble swimming even under rain (great experience)!

I forgot to write that there are many super markets to buy anything you need and that Greeks generally speak English.

So have a great time! Don't forget to visit the nearby village of Hanioti. I suggest you rent a car so you can visit more of Halkidiki (1st and 2nd leg). Trust me, exploring the different places would make your holiday much more fun than staying in one place. Email me if you need any more info...
