Question:

Peghooks that are coated?

I need peghooks to hang up some display items. I need them to be at least 4 inches long and can support up to 15 pounds in weight.

I know that Lowes sells metal peghooks that can do this, but none of them have a rubber/soft coating that make it so they won't scratch the display items. Anyone know of a place that sells what I'm looking for? If not... anyone know how to coat them myself?

  1. Get a can of liquid latex and coat them yourself. Just dip them, let them dry and voila...coated hooks! Lowe's should have the liquid latex also--and it should come in various colors.

  2. You can buy the tips that go over the hooks at Lowes. Target is also beginning to sell a lot of things along this line.
