Chinese Taipei’s Pei Hsin Chiang is just one step away from entering into the Women’s Singles main round as she toppled her team-mate, Lu Chia Chien in the qualifying round of the 2011 Chinese Taipei Open, at Sinjhuang City, in Chinese Taipei, on Tuesday,

Hsin Chiang has made a lot of improvement in all aspects of the game and proved her worth against her compatriot, Chia Chien, by playing to her full potential. She ended the qualifying round match in straight games by taking just 24 minutes of court time
by showing her top class skills and wonderful technique in the game.
In the first game, both ladies drew the attention of the local crowd with cracking sounds of their strokes. They missed no chance to bury the bird by hitting powerful smashes and entertained the huge crowd with the top-class badminton. The score remained
close in the starting points of the match where both ladies maintained a wonderful pace of the game.
Hsin Chiang managed a gap of 11-8 in the opening half of the first game. She controlled the pace of the game in the second part of the set and maintained the difference throughout the whole game. Chia Chien tried to cope up with the speed of her opponent
but failed to play positive badminton. Hsin Chiang got an advantage in the match by winning the first game with a margin of 21-17, in just 13 minutes.
In the following set of this qualifying-round fight, Hsin Chiang accelerated the speed of the game from the opening points. She played a planned and perfect game and spared no chance for Chia Chien to put up any sort of strong resistance in the whole game.
The aggressive approach of Hsin Chiang helped her to win the second game with a margin of 21-14, in just 11 minutes. This Women’s Singles qualifying round battle finished off in straight sets of 24 minutes with the score of 21-17 and 21-14.
