Pein and Minato? Could they be connected?

Question

Do you think Pein and Minato Namikaze have anything to do with each other? They both have deep roots with Jiraiya and Naruto and they both seem alike. I dont think one is the other, I just think they're connected.

well .. there is a resemblance in their hair (if u mean the pein in the pic )+jiraya's+naruto's

but maybe kishi likes drawing spiky hair? ...well naruto and minato are connected ....

but we cant be sure if there is a connection between minato and pein  until it is revealed... :(

I don't think they're connected.  I can't think of any situation in the manga or anime episodes that ever connected them.  Maybe, the only connection is Jiraiya knowing the both of them.

Anyways, if you caught up with the story, that is not the true face of Pein (wasn't his real name Nagato, the boy with rinnegan).  There are six faces that Pein has shown, and Jiraiya uncovered the trick, "the real one isn't there".  

He's using bodies of dead people, or so I believe.

NO NO NO they are NOT related!!!!!!

Anyway, Pein's REAL BODY has black hair and looks really emo. Just like the other guy said, he used people's dead body. He's got six of them

The Pein picture that you showed us was Yahiko, Pein (aka nagato)'s childhood friend.
