  1. hey hun...

Ok first off to get rid of cramps you should excersize or take some advil. Excersize will get rid of cramps and make you feel happier too.

It is also roumered bananas help cramps. I use pads and generally change them every 3-4 hours but it reallyy depends on the flow level.

For me being active and up on my feet gives me a much lighter flow so I don't leak. So if you can't excersize for one reason or another take any pain killer and use as directed on the bottle.

  2. hey!

i know exactly how you feel.

    it sucks!

i would suggest taking a motrin, every 4 hours.

it will help with the cramps, and the depressed feeling you have.

if your period is very heavy i would just check the pad every so often and change it then.

if its lighter, then you can change it every time you have to go to the bathroom.

yes, a tampon would probably be easier.

it might be kind of tricky if its your first time trying it.

but just read the instructions that come with the tampons.

and RELAX, because if your all tensed up the tampon WILL NOT go in.

    hope i could help!

  3. aww..poor baby i feel how you feel because now that i hate mine sorta, kinda,in a way! but since you just started you should change your pad every hour or so.better yet if you can feel the pad getting heavy then you know it is time to change. if you use a tampon make sure you change that more than everyonce in a while because with a tampon it is lika a sponge and once it soaks up the blood that it can handle then you will have a mess in ur underwear. but you should change it from every 45 mins or so. to get rid of cramps take a advil or midol( i usually take about 2) if you are still feeling pain use a heating pad or in place of that i use the back massager thingy and rub it all over my stomach.(belive it or not, though it may sound crazy it works) and to stop feeling depressed eat some chocolate..it takes away the feeling of being depressed and makes you feel like at the time nothing in the world really matters.

  4. I started mine last week and you will have cramps for like the first 2 days or so. a heating pad can help. or taking something called Midol. I would suggest not using a tampon it can really mess your system up. Also change your pad everytime you go to the washroom so you have a clean pad everytime.

    Hope this helps

  5. okay you should change your pad before it leaks though, so it just depends on how heavy your period is. i know, it does suck! i use tampons, they are sooo much better! at least in my opinion, you should try them. and if you need to talk about anything else i am here :)

Oh and you can also use birth controll if your period is really bad but you might want to consult a doctor.

  6. Painkillers like paracetamol can help with the pain, change the pad when you think it can't take anymore blood. You can use a tampon if you want but get the Tampax mini as they are small and easy to use. When you are using a tampon for the first time make sure you have privacy and you are relaxed to make it easy for you. As for your feelings they will disappear along with your period but if they don't then go and see your doctor.

    Periods are different for everyone.

  7. i know, they are the worst. just stay calm with it. it's all natural. you should change your pad about every 3 hours or so depending on how heavy the period is. try eating a banana to get rid of cramps, they can help. tampons are just as good as pads so they would be fine too. always know that there are happy things to think about. keep positive and you'll be fine. congratulations!

    :)

  8. Welcome to womanhood!

You should change your pad when you feel it is full - quite often it will be time to change it when you go to the toilet.

You could try a tampon if you feel comfortable with it - make sure to change it after about 4 hours, depending on your flow. You can safely leave it for up to 8 hours, but it will probably need changing before then. Make sure to relax and follow the instructions that come with them.

Try taking paracetamol or another over the counter pain relief tablet to help ease the pain.

If the cramps are really bad, you might want to consider seeing your doctor for stronger medication.

You could also try the following:

    - having a warm bubble bath

    - going for a walk/doing yoga, or something else similar

    - placing a hot water bottle on your lower stomach

If all else fails, get into your most comfy pjs and make a date with a feel good movie and a big bar of chocolate (this should also help to cheer you up!

    Hope you feel better soon!

  9. Change your pad in the moring afternoon and night. Or everytime you go to the bathroom. To get rid of cramps try motrin and there something eles i cant reamber what it is it works good. Cramps only last about 2 days. The feeling of the pad i know its funny try a tampon but there gross. Youll stop feeling depressed its problly more moodiness pms thats it! lol it will go away. GOOD LUCK!

  10. ask your dr or person at a shop or something, whether they know of any pain relief aspirins that would help. When i got mine yesterday I was in so much pain but I took one aspirin, and 30mins later i was cured x x x

  11. i would use pads, change them every couple hours, and if you use tampons i usually change it every 3 hours to avoid my slef from getting a yeast infection. don't worry, everyone gets there period, when i first got mine i was super depressed too, but i gradually got over it and got used to it.
