Pell Grant, I need some help!! :S?

Question

I want to know how im going to get my $$$...i heard i can use it for gas and books and food, etc. how does it work?.. Fin Aid told me they world get some confirmation from the gov in 5 weeks.. so i had to pay and i would get reimbursed when they received the $$$, I know i got the grant cause I got a letter :P so plz someone help me, tell me all i need to know.. THNX TO everyone that answers :D

THe Pell grant is sent to the school to pay for your tuition, fees, books, etc.  If (and I say if) you get enough money to cover all those things, you will be refunded the difference.  Many folks qualify for a lot of Pell (4731.00 a year) max.  And some only qualify for the minimum... which is like 400 dollars a year.
