Pell Grant Only?!?

i'm trying to enroll in Marinello School of Beauty in Moreno Valley Ca. however their tuition is $17,000!! they offer the pell grant which i'm eligible for.. but that only covers $7,200ish

are there any other grants that will accept my school? i looked into it.. but i cant find anything except loans and scholorships.

that school is accredited.. i just dont know of any grants that will help me pay for it.

someone help. i dont want a loan and cant write essays..

  2. There are sub-loans and unsub-loans from Sallie Mae.  These loans you do have to pay back the amount is up to $3500( sub) and $4000 (unsub) base on you credit.  The rate is low. One the interest accumulates while is school the other when you are finished.  Payment generally starts 6 months after you graduate. You have up to 5 years to pay them off. Go on the Sallie Mae web cite and they should be a phone number to contact them.  That school might be affiliated with the school you want to attend.  Pelll grants only cover a certain amount of money depended on your EFC.

  3. Pell Grants are not paid in lump sum.  You should check and see the length of time the $7,200+ covers.  Everyone I know using Pells have to reapply periodically because it's based on several different requirements.

  5. try stafford loans, you have to pay themback but they have low rates or else the government pays them, and they are not based on your credit.
