Pell grants, what does it mean when they ask for this?

What does it mean when Financial aid asks for Documenation of Student Living Expenses? They told me that I had all the paperwork in, and then they ask for this. I am finalizing 2007-2008 financial aid. Have you ever seen this being asked?

If I remember correctly, I used the information from the (chosen) college website which gave projected dollar amounts for student living expenses per semester and maybe also per year.
