Malaga boss, Manuel Pellegrini, believes selling Cazorla for 20million would be like ‘giving him away’ and thinks the club should not sell their star midfielder.
Rumours suggest that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505 might be on his way out of the Spanish club, Malaga.
The player who joined the Spanish side last season is struggling since he has not been receiving his wages on time. The Spanish midfielder was lured in from the Spanish side, Villarreal, who were relegated last season.
Santi has been performing phenomenally for Malaga and has helped them reach the top-4 of the Spanish La Liga.
However, since Malaga have been failing to pay their players the wages which they have promised, and since they have not paid the full price of Cazorla to Villarreal, they might be banned from taking part in the qualification stages of the UEFA Champions
League.
According to reports, the Premier League side, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, have recently made a bid to sign the Spanish midfielder.
Cazorla was a part of the Spanish side which won the Euro 2012; however, he did not play a single game for them despite travelling with the team to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
The pint-sized midfielder is considered to be a talented player and he will be a great signing for any side who add him to their midfield.
Since there have been a lot of rumours that Cazorla might be leaving the Spanish side, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 Pellegrini recently admitted that even though there has been an offer for the star player, he will not let him leave the club.
While addressing the press, Pellegrini said:
"There is an offer, they say, for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-c32503 Cazorla. To sell him for €20 million would be to give him away. I don't think the club intends to do that.”
"I've talked a lot with [vice-president] Abdullah Ghubn and with the sheikh and this would not be representative of their mentality. It would send out the wrong signal ahead of our Champions League campaign.”
"If significant offers come in for players, they will be worthy of consideration, but I don't think Santi will be leaving for €20 million."
Malaga would really want to stick to Santi Cazorla as he is a phenomenal player to have in the team; however, if they fail to pay his wages, it won’t be long till they lose him.
