The Chilean trainer has taken out time to praise his players and the squad for performing well during a brilliant calendar year for the side in terms of results.
Malaga CF’s head coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 Pellegrini, expressed that the Spanish outfit have enjoyed a good footballing year and was particularly pleased with his side’s recent results.
According to the experienced manager, the club will not crumble under the financial that have demented the La Rosaleda outfit over the past two seasons. He added that the only thing that his players need to do is achieve good results and that they are doing
that brilliantly.
La Blanquiazul have been financial problems for quite a while now. The issues were basically formed because of their Qatari owners. As a result, the club is indebted with the money they owe to other teams, their own players and the staff among others.
Consequently, Malaga’s inability to pay this debt has counted in bad books of UEFA. The ruling committee of football in Europe recently barred Los Boquerones from all European competitions for one season.
The news obviously comes as a tragedy for La Rosaleda faithful as their team has been performing remarkably over the past months.
The last season saw the Blue and Whites finish 4th in the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings. Consequently, they qualified for this year’s Champions League and have made it to the last 16 of the coveted competition.
Considering their current results, many expect the Andalusian outfit to finish in the top four this season as well. However, they will not be able to play the Champions League and the Europa League.
Nevertheless, Pellegrini has asserted that it was a brilliant year for the team and their latest victory over Real Madrid gives them hope for a better future.
"It is a joy to finish the year because it has been a brilliant year for us in Champions League, finishing the group stage unbeaten," the former Santiago Bernabeu boss told reporters.
"Between Champions League success and beating Real Madrid, it is a joy to know we have given satisfaction to the fans."
"I hope that the problems off the football field are resolved and we can finish the fight in this year's Champions League and qualify for European competition at the end of the season."
Malaga are currently 4th in the La Liga table. They are two points behind 3rd placed Real Madrid.
