After the departure of their successful coach, Unai Emery, Valencia have replaced him by Mauricio Pellegrino who is going to be managing a club for the first time in his life.
Valencia enjoyed a relatively successful season in this campaign. Not only did they manage to earn the third spot in the Spanish La Liga, they also managed to reach the final of the UEFA Europa League.
Currently Valencia are considered to be one of the strongest clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, all thanks to their former coach Unai Emery.
Unai helped Valencia to stay in the Top-4 of the Spanish La Liga and now they are going to be playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
However, with Unai Emery leaving the Spanish club to join Spartak Moscow, Valencia had to find a suitable replacement for the departed manager.
In recent news, it was seen that Valencia have named the manager who is going to be replacing Unai Emery at the helm of affairs.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauricio-c24899 Pellegrino is going to be the man who will replace Unai Emery and is expected to do wonders with the club.
While being the assistant coach of the former Valencia manager, Rafael Benitez, when he was in charge of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, Mauricio Pellegrino definitely has the ability to take Valencia to dizzying heights which they are expected to reach.
The 40-year-old manager signed a contract with Valencia on Monday.
A statement released by the officials of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 read:
“This afternoon, the Board of Directors have ratified the agreement made last Friday which sees Mauricio Pellegrino become the new first-team coach of Valencia for the next two seasons.”
Pellegrino has never managed a club in his life before and Valencia is going to be his first. Back in the days when Rafael Benitez was in charge of Liverpool and Inter Milan, Pellegrino was his assistant coach.
However, what really adds emotion to this http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 is the fact that he was a Valencia player back in 1999 and played for them till 2005. During this era he managed to grab a runners-up medal of the UEFA Champions League.
Rafael Benitez helped Valencia win the Spanish La Liga back in his days. Can Pellegrino repeat the Spaniard’s feat? Only time can tell.
