Pencil eyeliner ???

Question

i feel stupid asking this but is pencil eyeliner for the bottom part of the eye or is it for the top?

people tell me its for both but other people tell me its just for the bottom part.

Eye pencils are definitely used for both. However, I think cream eyeliners are a better alternative. They go on smooth and last longer (in my opinion).  I LOVE L'Oreal Hip Cream Eyeliner. It's the best thing since sliced bread.  Both can be used for the upper and lower lash line.  I think it's all on the preference of the artist.

its perfectly fine for both! it's not a stupid question a lot of people wonder that so you don't have to feel stupid. i always like pencil better because liquid eyeliner is sort of hard to put on plus it can smudge easily but most people i know put liquid on their top lid instead of pencil

I use it for both always it makes your eyes pop especially if u curl lashes first. The trick is not to apply too much or youll look trashy or gothic LOL

It's for both. Pencil eyeliners are great, if you have a good brand, because from my experience they tend to stay on longer than the fluid or felt-tip ones. Experiment with cheap brands to get used to what look you like. Some people like to only wear it on the bottom, like me. I have small eyes so wearing it on just the bottom gives me that extra something, but wearing it on the top too makes my eyes too dark. Experiment with colors as well. I love browns and golds, very pretty!
