Pencil pouches?

Okay i want to buy a good pencil pouch and i have seen three in the stores one type was a cloth type which has two pockets and the second type was the same thing but with one pocket and the third type is a plastic one so which one should i get

the first one; the cloth type with 2 pockets. plastic pouches rip in the long run. plus you could wash the cloth type.

I am a teacher and I ask all of my students to get cloth so that they can wash them when they get dirty and they are much more durable.
