Penderive /USB derive Plz Resolve my problem regarding Penderive....?

Question

I have 32GB penderive or usb derive.Computer detects it nicely,But does not able to format it in anyway.It comes into waiting state but does not comes to any result.when i cancel the formatting process as its went into waiting state , a massage comes up as " Disk in the derive L: can't be formatted" at last.More over when i went to Disk Managent then i got following status :

Layout= Partition

Type=basic

File system = Not shown

status = Healthy Active

free space=32.01Gb

Capacity=32.01Gb

Fault Tolerence= 0

Free=1005

overhead=0%

Shown in logical derive.

when i try to open then computer asks for formatting but does't results into formatting..

Plz resovle my problem....As early as possible..

dear friend u can choose recovery manager software ..

as it is free of cost availble on the net.

try to remane the penderive under FAT formatt.

Try to re -allocate window romavable name..

another way to for this check it to ur vendore,,

I hope it is not chiness pendrive which is avaible at very very cheap price but with awful worthless to money,,,

Your pendrive seems damaged. If Windows cannot format a device, it means that the device may be damaged inside. You can try formatting in some other computer. But I don't think it will work. Just remember one thing before you purchase a pendrive. Buy a pendrive of 2 GB or less always because the more the capacity, the more it is prone to damage. I always get complaints of pendrives more than 2 GB. If you want more capacity, it is always better to buy a USB hard-disk of 80 GB or something which may cost around Rs.3000/-. It is worth the money.
