  1. never goin to happen i like this better since they lost one game so they can take stanley at home.

  2. Do they only win at home???  I think they were a little shell shocked starting on the road.  Every team plays better at home, you have your common routines, your fans, and your just more comfortable.  Remember, no game is "easy" to win in the playoffs, especially when you are facing the best (recordwise) team in the league in their building.  A lot of Pens fans just seem really surprised that the Pens lost 2 games in a row.  Playoff time means playing against good and motivated teams.  Just because you breezed through 1 or more series, doesn't mean the next will be easy.  Its the Finals and you are playing the Red Wings.  Not an easy task.

  3. Pens have only beat the Red Wings 13 times at Joe Louis Arena, but the Red Wings have only won 18 at Mellon Arena.

  4. They have the whole home crowd rooting them on and hearing them cheering gives them confidence. I am hoping that they win the next 3 as well.

  5. well if you recall correctly the penguins won both games 3 & 4 on the road during the first round & they won games 3 in the second & third round. but hopefully they can win games 4, 5, & 6. woo woo. go penguins!!

  6. They don't only win at home. Are you forgetting that they won all but 2 of their playoff games up until this series? geez..find something else to pick on will you.

  7. they don't "only win at home" the pens have won at other arenas too. their just so used to their ice, and it's a total different atmosphere when you're playing at home.

  8. What are you talking about. They swept Ottawa so that means they won 2 there. They took the 1st home game agains both NYR and Philly. I guess you could say why does Detroit only win at home since they came to Pittsburgh and lost. Home ice advantage is huge, especially in the Playoffs.Obviously Pittsburgh has to win a game in Detroit if they want the Cup. Dallas won a game there and so will the Pens

  9. It definitely seems this way, but you can't criticize a team for winning every game it's played at home since mid-February.  If all that it would take is a single win on the road in the Stanley Cup finals...I'll take it!

  10. They restored hope in me last night. The reason that Detroit destroyed them was because they weren't physical. Last night, they played physical and like they wanted the cup. If they can translate that to when they go to Detroit, we can easily win against a bunch of old men.

  11. Detroit loss on purpose every team wants to win the cup on thier home ice

pens cant play D for c**p

  12. I think they were nervous when they were in Detroit. When they played at home they felt comfortable and it was a great atmosphere. I think in the first two games they learned alot and stepped up their game in game3.

  13. The Pens only have to win one in Detroit to sway the home ice advantage back to Pittsburgh.  Game 5 looks good to me

    GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Well Niko, maybe they are used to their own rink, and the others are not like the one at home???????

Plus, I think that they are also going to win the next away game!

  15. Well they won one at home. Saturday is going to be a different story.

  16. no i dont think that is going to happen

  17. That isn't true.  As stated they beat the rangers, senators and flyers on the road.  I think the first two games they weren't physical enough.  Calls get missed on both sides before I hear any complaints.  I think Hall was one of the best players on the ice.  He won 5 out of 7 faceoffs last night.  Sydor was great despite not playing in the playoffs until that point.  The pens proved the red wings are human.  If the pens capitalize on a couple more mistakes by the red wings I think they can win the series.  Let's Go Pens!
