Find out where they are located -- the city and state -- and check the Better Business Bureau to see if they have been reported for anything. Call the Attorney General of that state, too, for the same information.

The Federal Government has a database that lists accredited schools. If the school you are interested in is not listed there, think twice before giving them your money.
