Penn VS. Sherk, who wins??

I believe Penn will dominate this fight. What do you think?

Depends on the ref. If the ref stands it up quick, Sherk will  perform what I like to call the "take down then sleep town" offense where he shoots a beautiful inside single or a double leg take down into Penn's guard, and then falls asleep on his chest until the fight is stood back up where he can wash, rinse repeat.  If this is the case Sherk will win by decision.

If the ref gives Penn time to use BJJ while on the ground, eventually he will get a submission by arm bar or rear naked.

Another factor is Sherks lack of roids'.  I don't know much about steroids, but if MLB is any indicator (this year is on pace to have 1000 less home runs than in 2006) then the muscle shark might not be so overpowering.

Either way, I am routing for  BJ.

that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard now if he were jumping weight yeah there is the possibility he could gas as that would be a strain on his cardio but not at this weight

also he is more flexible than sherk sherk is confident in his wrestling ability but wrestlers suck on their back Penn's ground game is off the charts sherk goes home weeping and without a belt

Penn wins but won't dominate. Figure he submits Sherk in 3rd or 4th. Sherk will outwrestle B.J. and control the fight but he can't go 25 mins. without being submitted, and if he stands with B.J., he's done.

I believe Sherk beats Penn by unanimous decision due to the fact if you listen to the interviews of Penn about this fight he is way to cocky sherk is a smaller version of Brock lesnar, but has more experience his arms are short and his neck is really thick this will make it hard for Penn to submit him also sherk can force good cardio fighters to tire out due to his fast pace

BJ Penn is capable of winning with strikes, a choke, or a submission.  His gap control is so good, I wouldn't really give the Muscle Shark a punchers chance.

it depends, this is the classic striker vs submission fight. i can see penn choking sherk out in maybe the 3rd but i can also see sherk testing penns chin. ive been watching the sport for a long time and i cannot really remember if anyone has tested penns chin yet or not. As much as it pains me to say it overall i believe this will be bj penns night

If Penn can stop the fight in the first two rounds and doesn't become exausted he'll get it......otherwise it will be Sherk
