Pennington to the Bears?

Odds are the Chadster will lose his job now that the Jets have traded for the player formerly known as Brett Favre so should Da Bears give him a look-see?

I mean, how hard would it be for him to beat out Rex the Wonder Dog and What's-His-Name for the job?

i think you would be begging for rex back after a few games. Pennington doesn't have the ability to be a pro QB. Of course rex doesn't have the confidence to be a pro QB, so your screwed either way.

If they did'nt make a try for Culpepper why would they try for Pennington. They're about even in my book with a little edge to Culpepper... He was a Pro bowl QB.

Pennington or Leftwich would be an upgrade over Orton, Grossman or any qb they have right now.

I keep saying that Miami needs a quarterback. All three of their's really suck or haven't played much. Neither of the McNown's have ever done much. I wish they would quit sitting on their hands and try to get Pennington.

Pennington may not be the best QB but he protects the ball, is very smart and if you have ever noticed, fakes extremely well. He would definitely be an upgrade to Grossman.

I still think Grossman may have some good years ahead of him. He is still a fairly young guy who really didn't get a break in period. Getting to sit behind Pennington and learn to take care of the ball could be good for him.
