how much is minimum wage

how many hours can i work a week

how old do you have to be to work?

  1. Wow, I had a heck of a time finding this..  Good question:

    1>  You need to be 14 or over..  You will need working papers, here's some info on that:  http://webgui.phila.k12.pa.us/offices/c/...

    2>  Information about hours I find is conflicted, but the consensus seems to be no more than 20 per week, with schedule limitations on school nites

    3>  From the US Govt:  A minimum wage of not less than $4.25 may be paid to employees under the age of 20 for their first 90 consecutive calendar days of employment with any employer as long as their work does not displace other workers. After 90 consecutive days of employment, or when the worker reaches age 20 (whichever comes first), the worker must receive at least the federal minimum wage. (which is $6.65)
