Question:

Penny bracelet!?

I collect all of the lucky face up pennies that I find. I have quite a few now, and I was planning on making them into a lucky bracelet. I was going to have one made, but since it would be "defacing U.S. currency", could I even find someone to make one?

  1. You could find someone to make it but it should probally be someone you know because it is illegal. If you want to make it yourself, either takea hot glue gun and glue the pennies together, or take a dill and drill a hole into each of the pennies and tie them together with string, yarn or anything that you please. I hope this answerd your question.

  2. All you need is a hot gule gun and some creativity and you can do it urself because do u want your luck rubbing off on someone else?

  3. hot glue isn't going to hold it for long and you will risk losing one of your "lucky pennies"

You can make it your self if you want -

I suggest you get a bracelet blank like this https://www.rings-things.com/cgi-bin/haz... and use E6000 glue to glue the pennies.

Another choice is to drill holes in the pennies and connect them with jump rings and add a clasp.

Not sure if you will find someone in your area to make you one or not - I have made several coin bracelets from foreign coins for customers that bring back leftover change from trips and did make one from some of the new state quarters for someone visiting from another country so you never know.
