Penny value!?!??!?

I was at my family reunion and i won these old penny's that have the wheat on the back....the oldest one i have is from 1941....the newest one is 1953 i think....i want to know if they are worth any value and if they are then how much...please tell me if you know...i have searched the internet and i have yet to find there value if they have any so please tell me.....thanks!!!

  1. The cents from 1941-1953 are very common a due to large mintage's. They can be found in a coin dealers wheat cent box for around .05 each, so he pays .02 each. The ones from the World war II era have more historic value, than a monetary one. 1941 was not a good year for the USA and that cent maybe in 1942 or 1943 was in a pay envelope for some women building a tank or bomber.

    I have over 200 pennies that are all wheatheads. The oldest I have is from 1909. I even have a few steel pennies from the 40's. They were using all the copper to make bullets in WWII at that time, so those are really rare.
