Pennys Midas in contention for victory in Ohn Smith´s Peterborough Derby - 1st Semi-final
Pennys Midas is a solid contender for victory in the Ohn Smith´s Peterborough Derby - 1st Semi-final at Peterborough in England on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The Grade OR winner will bag a cash prize of £175 in the end.
The 420 metres flat race will test both the speed and stamina of the runners, who are all fully capable of making a strong impression today. The action will start at 21:20 and it will definitely catch the attention of the spectators at Peterborough.
Looking at the record of all participants, it appears that no one has got a bigger advantage over the other. This will make things a bit challenging for the punters, but they can risk their money in favour of Pennys Midas, who has been given a general starting
price of 7 to 2 by the bookmakers.

then and did now allow anyone else to come closer, winning by six and a half lengths.
In March 2012, the talented runner made his debut in a Grade OR event and performed really well in it. He was not given the best odds, but was still expected to fight for the top three positions. This was exactly what he did and secured the third place in
the end.
Kinloch Brae’s son out of Pennys Mrsturpin seems to like the conditions at Peterborough. He was quite competitive in his most recent race at this venue and finished as third in it. He will need a slightly better effort in order to take the top spot today.
