To the guy above me, that is such a horrible generalization of Penguin fans. I was born in '86, so I remember perfectly what it's like to be on top, and to be dead freaking last. As far as Penguin fans not knowing anything about hockey, well this is just a overall, dumb statement. Penguin fans, and Pittsburgh sports fan in general are very knowledgable about the sports that we watch down here. Yes, we are very abrasive and quite annoying at times, but damnit, we know the sport that we are cheering on.

I hate the Red Wings, yet their fans are terrific! They come to Los Angeles and fill half the building-in Annaheim they take up 3/4 of the honda center. Penguins fans are horrible-Where were they before Sid the overated kid came along? They are so lucky the team didn't end up in Kansas. IF you watch the games the Detroit fans know when to cheer and boo, the Pens fans just kinda sit there like Duck fans-they don't get the game. Malkin is pretty awsome though.

The Pens did not go bankrupt because there fans were not going to games. When people hear the word Pittsburgh the first thing that comes to mind is the Steelers Football. Just like Detroit you think Pistons or Wings. But Ooooooo now everyone goes to see the Tigers play as well because that had a few good years. Pittsburgh is one of the greatest sports towns in America. All three major organizations treat there fans well. It's no different than people not liking the Pats because of Tom Brady. If you do not like a particular player fine!! No need to Hate the Franchise. I am from Pittsburgh and now live in Belleville MI. I rooted for both teams all year. Can anyone tell me how many games the wings sold out this season. They have announcements during Tigers games to try and sell out tickets for the playoffs. I'm sure you will see plenty of Black and Gold in the stands for the first two games.

Rooting for the Wings  - in 5 or 7 so it can be at home.

I don't care which team those people support - they just know their stuff, and get on with being hockey fans.

The Pens, only because it has been a while since they last won the cup. I don't like one group of people more than the other.

Personaly, I can't think about a real prediction on the Finals.

2 seriously deep offensive teams goin head to head.

But for marketing reasons that will benefit the NHL. Pens in 6.

According to those 4, I would say the Wings fans have the better sense of humor, and obviously I would like to see the Wings win the cup.

Why are some of you dissing the Pens because their fans didnt go to games when they were a terrible team? I count plenty of empty seats at Wings PLAYOFF games!

Most teams don't get sellouts when they suck. Unless of course we are talking Montreal, Minnesota or Buffalo... true hockey towns!

As for the regulars here, I have no preference. I jumped on the Red Wings bandwagon because of the obnoxious bandwagon fans who took the time to get too personal about us supposedly wretched and vile Flyers fans who ALL act the same way.

And it is rare that I root for any team that has eliminated the Flyers anyway.

Well, as a Redwing fan since the mid eighties I of course want the Redwings to win.
