The Wings will win tonight. They made mistakes in the last game and weren't playing like they should have. Babcock will have made adjustments and they will play like they did in game 1 and 2.

Skeletonking:  I dont think you are really being objective in your analysis.  Its like your trying to say Ozzy only has a low goals against average because he doesnt face a lot of shots.  Keep in mind that he has the highest save percentage in the playoffs and also has a higher save percentage than Fleury in this series.  Fleury is at 91.3% while Ozzy is at 95.4%.  Thats a pretty big difference.  It seems like you are basing the majority of opinion on last game, but a single game doesnt mean that much.  Fleury has faced about 50% more shots than Ozzy in this series but let in 3 times as many goals.

Now to answer the question, I hope Detroit wins tonight as Ive been predicting them taking the series in 5 the whole time, but who knows.  Holmstrom might not play tonight so that could play a factor.  If I have to make a prediction though, Ill say Wings 4-2.

well im going to say the wings.. it looked like they took awhile to get started because in the 3rd period when the pens scored another goal and made it 3 to 1.. the wings pushed that whole period.. i thing if that was the second period they could have came back, because they were on edge that last period.. no question that the pens are comfortable when they are at home, and with the lead.. but it also looked like in the 3rd of game 2 the wings had them on their heels that 3rd period. so.. it just all depends on how everyones playin.. and as for goals in game 2... crosbys goals were nothing special.. and i hate how espn says hes the best, i will say franziens goal in that game was pretty... they way he scored it was way better than both of crosbys goals together.

Wings, they haven't played a "great" game yet. The extra day off at the "Spa" will help some lingering pains and injuries. Look for another fast start from Pitt, and watch for more from the Wings. They do not want Pitt to gain any momentum and will win again with there class, skill, TEAM effort and coaching!

Pens 3-1. The Pens have all of the momentum going in their favor, which might carry over into game 5 and eventually into a home game 6, which is unlikely, but indeed possible.

Pittsburgh only needed 24 shots to get in 3 goals, while Detroit needed 34 to get 2. In this series, Fleury has been strong (even though he took a nice little fall in Game 1) and is saving about 92 percent of his shots. Osgood hasnt been tested much this series only taking an average of 22 shots per game. If we got 30+ shots on net in any given game against Ozzie, it's possible he might let in about 4-5 goals a night. In these playoffs, hes only faced 30+ shots twice. Both in the Dallas series, both were losses. I wouldn't call Ozzie a great goalie only because the defense is so good and when the d gives up a lot of shots, he gives up a lot of goals. Fleury has gotten better in his games this series and has face no fewer than 32 shots in this series alone and he faced 25 shots or less once in a game against the Flyers-6 nothing win for the Pens in which he saw only 21 shots. The goaltending is better for Pittsburgh and even if the shots are even-ish, the goals wont be and the Penguins will have the edge.

Crosby retook the scoring lead and Hossa looks possessed. Malkin finally wants to play hockey again, and Orpik and Roberts are hitting everything that moves averaging about 12 hits per game between the two of them (including Game 1 when Gary didnt play).

red wings will win 2-1, jeri hudler will score the game winning goal, and late in the third period will be a 5 on 3 for pittsburgh and they will fail to score. thats my prediction.
