Penske Racing driver Kurt Busch’s team radio to be monitored – NASCAR news
Penske Racing driver Kurt Busch’s team radio will be kept under check to avoid use of false language.
2004 Sprint Cup Series Champion, Kurt Busch knows his temper when he and his team are struggling to get good results out of the race and the frustration adds on. His abusive language can embarrass the fans.
The team is planning to improve the status and they have planned to keep a check on the radio conversations. Especially during the last week’s All-Star Race, Kurt Busch seemed very hopeless and the conversation was also carrying similar expressions. Busch
finished 13th in All-Star Race.
At the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kurt Busch was commenting about the situation and said, “It’s a matter of trying to be the most professional that you can be about it. Not every situation is good. You’re being graded on how you persevere through the troubling
times.”
He further said, “I always laugh and listen to you guys [in the media] contradict yourselves because you say that you want us to be more colourful, but all that you want to do to a driver is just thrash them when they show personality.”
The Penske Racing driver is determined to improve the quality of conversation and says from now on, there will be no foul language on the team radio.
Former Sprint Cup Champion, Busch had a good start to his 2011 NASCAR season, but lately he has not been able to grasp a victory. In the ongoing season he has earned one top ten finish in last seven races and finished 18th or lower in three races.
In the 2010 Sprint Cup season, Kurt Busch won both races held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, but with present performance he is frustrated and victory seems far away.
On the other side of the Penske Racing team garage, Brad Keselowski has topped the race line up. He will be starting the Sprint Cup Series race Coca Cola 600 from the first position. A.J. Allmendinger will be at second place on the starting grid, followed
by All-Star Race winner Carl Edwards.
